A: Well, the weather there is similar to tropical areas because Puerto Rico is located near to equator. The temperature there is 95°F during days and 65°F during nights. It is also a humid area and you will get sweat there like in Philippines. Sometimes there is a rain mostly in the afternoon, evening, or early morning.

A: No, I am not yet familiar with the streets, main roads, and freeways in Puerto Rico because it was my first time to visit there. Thanks God that there are maps that I got from Enterprise and Coral by the Sea Hotel. Thanks God also that Enterprise has a GPS or road navigator and so I did not missed all the routes of the places that I have to visit during my stay there. Later, I remember some of the routes there. If I will stay in Puerto Rico later, then I will remember more of the routes there. It takes time to remember all the routes.

A: Well, the currency in Puerto Rico is also US Dollars since it is also a territory of United States of America. Since Puerto Rico is also using US Dollars, I don't have to go to the banks just to buy or exchange bills or notes and coins. The cost of living there is similar to United States of America.
Q: What are the units of measurement in Puerto Rico?
A: Well, in Puerto Rico, they are using SI Units except for the speed or velocity because they are using miles per hour (mi/hr).

A: Yes, I ate a lot of Puerto Rican foods there. Their food is also delicious. Most of their foods have coconut, banana, guava, guanabana, pineapple, and rum. Bacardi rum is a well-known drink there because the main factory of Bacardi rum is located there. Their condiments and spices are unique and delicious. Their style of cooking is similar to other Caribbean countries. During my stay in Puerto Rico, I went to Platos, Piu Bello, lechonerias, and other small restaurants to taste and enjoy Puerto Rican foods. There are many street foods and vendors in San Juan. The foods there are affordable, too so you will enjoy these.

A: Yes, there is a lechon or roasted pig in Puerto Rico. Lechon is very popular in Puerto Rico especially in Guavate. They are serving lechon during weekends only. Most of the restaurants in Guavate are serving lechon with side dishes. The skin of lechon is so crunchy. Their sauce is banana ketchup. In Philippines, they have lechon also but their sauce is liver sauce.

A: Well, the people in Puerto Rico are also friendly and approachable, too like in Philippines and United States of America but they are dominant. The culture in Puerto Rico is similar in Philippines because Puerto Rico is also colonized by Spain for hundreds of years. Puerto Ricans are also Roman Catholics and there are also lot of old churches that they are also tourist spots. I went to San Juan and I visited many old churches there. They are all beautiful and classical but the masses and prayers are in Spanish mostly.

A: Yes, of course. Most of the people there are beautiful and handsome. This is a reason that most of the women there are the winners, runners-up, and semi-finalist in many prestigious beauty pageants. Also, the people in Venezuela, too. Most of the well-known singers, actors, and actresses worldwide are from Puerto Rico, too.

It is better if you can speak Spanish because many of the people there are not fluent in English. Their medium of instruction there is Spanish and most of newspapers, bulletin boards, and television shows are in Spanish.
